2019 Workcamp (July 6-14)

We’ll be serving in Lexington, North Carolina!

Your votes have been tallied, and by an overwhelming margin, you all have decided to serve the Lexington, NC area next year.

We’ll check in at work camp on July 7th.  It is a nine-hour drive so we’ll need to stay two nights all together at a hotel.  Our Wednesday activity will be decided later, as well as what our celebration activity will be (Theme Park, Water Park, Rafting, etc).  This will determine if we leave on Friday, July 5th and then return Saturday, July 13th, or if we leave on a Saturday (July 6th) and return on Sunday, July 14.

We have reserved 25 spots for students and 5 spots for adults.

To reserve your spot you’ll need to fill out an application, CLICK HERE for the application, and turn it in along with your $50.00 deposit.  Or you can register online HERE.  Or we have forms available in the foyer.

Preliminary Information

COST:  The total amount the student is responsible for is $465.00.  A non-refundable $50.00 deposit is required at the time the student’s registration is turned in.  Please make all checks out to Crossroad Community Church.  $215.00 is then due by March 1st, 2019 with the remaining $200.00 being due by May 1st, 2019.

FUNDRAISING:  We will be having fundraisers to help offset some, (several students were able to raise ALL of their registration fees by our fundraisers alone) if not all, of the registration fee.  In order to get a portion of the funds raised at a fundraising event, you must be present at that event.

ACCOMMODATIONS:  During Workcamp we will be staying at a local High School.  Students will want to bring a towel and washcloth, plastic bags for wet or soiled clothing, an air mattress or foam pad, sleeping bag or sheets/blankets, bathing suite for showering and personal toilet articles.  A complete list of tools and other items will be made available at our parent meeting in January.

SPENDING MONEY:  Each student will need around $150.00 in spending money for food while traveling, and food during Wednesday and during our fun day.

More details to follow as they become available.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me any time by voice or text to (317) 401-1044 or by email at
